Mercy Corps Web Team Featured on Apple.com

I got an email late last week from Jacob Colie, the director of internet marketing for Mercy Corps. He and his web design team were featured on Apple’s Pro/Design portion of their web site for the web team’s work during the Tsunami disaster.

Not only is Mercy Corps entire site designed and built on Macs, turns out the fact that they are served from Macs helped keep them up and running while other disaster relief organization’s servers buckled under the massive influx of web traffic.

Having had the pleasure to work with Jacob and his team for over 2 years as a freelance interactive designer I’m feeling like a proud second cousin that the wonderful work they do behind the scenes has finally been promoted!

Read the full Mercy Corps story here.

Way to go Jacob, Tanya, Stuart and Roger!
