A New Magazine for Illustrators
It’s been a crazy, busy month but I had to stop work long enough to write about this exciting new magazine for illustrators and fans of contemporary illustration.
I just received my copy of ILLUSTRATION’05 - The Journal of Contemporary Illustration. This magazine is loaded with articles and double page spreads of art from today’s top illustrators. This premiere issue has articles and images from Peter de Séve, Marc Gabbana, Joe DeVito and Joseph Csatari. Future issues will feature C.F. Payne, Henk Dawson and many others.
Like its predecessor, “Illustration” - which features work and articles of illustrators from our past - ILLUSTRATION’05 will hopefully appear in newsstands soon. It comes out quarterly and if it doesn’t appear in newsstands, a yearly subscription costs $36.00 (which I immediately purchased when I heard about the magazine).
