SimpleBits: Embrace the Scroll

As one who learned early on the importance of designing web pages with the important elements “above the fold”, I found this article interesting.

See one smart example of a site that breaks this convention. Along with an older article (circa 1998) supporting this same position.

Wired News: Meet the Apple Pack Rats

Okay… it’s just weird. People that keep their empty Macintosh and iPod boxes then photograph these boxes and post their photos online.

All right, all right, I’ll admit it. I’ve kept all my boxes too. From my first Quadra, to my G4 tower, two iBooks and a PowerBook. I can’t help it! The packaging is amazing and so beautiful.

But I refuse to take any pictures, so don’t ask me. Besides, all the boxes are in the attic, okay!? So that makes it all okay. Right?
