On My Desk: Creative folk share the stuff on their desks
I’m a huge fan of books, magazines and videos that feature artists, animators and illustrators working in their studio. I subscribed to the original Step-by-Step Graphics magazine series (I guess they’re Step Inside Design magazine today) in the 1980’s where I could read articles of top illustrators working on a project from start to finish. I’d study close-up shots of their work and note their technique and equipment. But I’d also be intrigued by their studio space. It was always of interest to me to learn how their space reflected their creativity.
That’s why I was excited to find “On My Desk: Creative folk share the stuff on their desks”, a Blogger destination where the spotlight is on the space, not necessarily the art itself (though the two go hand-in-hand).
