I truly had hoped this story would end with a happy ending. CNET Editor James Kim’s body was found in the wilderness of Central Point Oregon today after attempting to find help for his stranded family. His family was found safe two days earlier.
A husband and father myself who has often made the similar trip between Portland and the Bay Area during the holidays, this story hit close to home. Here was a man who stepped up for the sake of his family regardless of the risks involved. That’s my definition of a true hero.
