Pig Iron

Today's image is just a play on words. I'm still trying out the style from a couple of days ago. It's been nice keeping it simple and rather satisfying to explore a limited palette and digital drawing tools.

So what's the actual definition of "pig iron?" Here's what I found in the American Heritage Dictionary...

Pig Iron (noun)

1. Crude iron cast in blocks.
2. A type of crude iron shaped like a block, commonly used as an industrial raw material.
3. Crude iron tapped from a blast furnace.
