It's Been 30 Years Since Calvin and Hobbes Ended
As we wrap up 2025, I didn’t realize it was 30 years ago today that the last Calvin and Hobbes strip ran. Along the same lines as Peanuts, thirty years ago on New Year’s Eve, Bill Watterson opted to end his Calvin and Hobbes series. In a profession where a comic can go on for generations (Peanuts, anyone?), Calvin and Hobbes ran for only 10 years before ending.
